   Cutting your shower time by 2 minutes can save 5 gallons of water per shower. That’s $10 a month for a family of four. I aim for 5-minute showers and feel great about the savings!
7. Air-Dry Dishes and Clothes
   Skip the dishwasher’s dry cycle and let dishes air-dry. Hang clothes on a rack instead of using the dryer to save $15-25 a month on electricity.
8. Seal Windows and Doors
   Drafty windows can increase your heating bill by 10%. Use weatherstripping or caulk to seal gaps—I saved $40 last winter with this trick.
