- 1 cup rice ($0.50)
- 2 cups mixed veggies (frozen, $1.00)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce ($0.50)
- 1 tablespoon oil ($0.50)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder ($0.50)
- Optional: 1 egg ($1.00, skip to stay under $5)
Instructions:
- Cook rice according to package instructions (15-20 minutes).
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add veggies and garlic powder, stirring for 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in soy sauce and cook for 2 more minutes.
